On The Ground
The JPMorgan Healthcare Conference tends to mark the official start to the year for execs in our industry, and boy is the year off to a fast start! Every discussion we’ve had in the last two weeks started with “what’s your prediction for the year?” We’re not ones to make bold claims, but “controlled momentum” has been a resonating theme.
In our 6th annual Compensation Study (released to participants in December - check your inboxes), we asked respondents whether they believe their companies will contract or expand in 2026. 39% predict that their companies will either stay flat or grow up to 10%. 18% predict 11-25% growth. 8% predict 26-50%. And 11% predict exponential expansion of more than 50%. This is great news for the market that has been faced with contraction in recent years.
