We wanted to write something really insightful, but if we’re being honest, the biggest insight we have is that the week after Labor Day is apparently the most popular time to announce new hires! What this means is that companies were not laying low this summer, but rather quietly and diligently upgrading their executive leadership teams. This week was filled with announcements of new operators and finance leaders - functions that remained active throughout the year, but saw a big pop in hiring in Q3. Our hunch is that this activity will not let up as organizations head into the fourth quarter, only being bolstered by the traditional seasonality of growth-related hires.
