Overheard at Health Evolution Connect this week that while there’s positivity about the healthcare innovation market broadly, companies delivering services are having a harder time raising capital than pure software plays. Emphasis this time around is not just on revenue (and apparently the bar is very high), but also on gross margins and profitable operations. Now is a good time for leaders to take a look at their operations, implementation, and customer success teams to make sure execution overall is top notch.
