Chief Financial Officer
By the Numbers
The Challenge
The Chief Financial Officer represents a critical addition to the executive leadership team, ultimately responsible for leading the business towards profitability, while ensuring healthy topline growth and scale. This executive will need 10+ years of experience leading finance efforts for fast-paced, innovative, companies that have seen significant scale. They will need significant experience in leading finance in a provider setting, that is ideally a dual-sided network. They will also need to be comfortable with a payer-centric revenue model, specifically around billing and revenue recognition. Lastly, this executive should have have led a company through a liquidity event, either in the private or public markets.
The Mandate
We’re extremely excited about how positive [their] backchannels and references were. Although [their] personality is a bit more reserved than the rest of the executive leadership team, I think this could be a positive and foster great discussions. [They] will be that third partner that I have been looking for and am confident in their ability to handle the finance and data-backing. [They] will make an immediate impact on therapist economics: helping job satisfaction and productivity.
